Vietnam Veterans Hall of Remembrance

The plan

Our Museum

The building does not exist yet. This is what we are working toward, and where we are.

The Vietnam Veterans Hall of Remembrance is being built from nothing by a board of veterans and history enthusiasts. What exists today is a collection of photographs, a set of commitments from supporters, and a plan.

The museum will hold at least one aircraft or vehicle from each branch of service, restored rather than merely parked. Alongside them will sit the American Homefront display, covering the families left behind, the music and fashion of the decade, and the unrest on campuses and in the streets.

It will be built to take school groups. Four school districts are within reach, and the restoration work itself is intended to be done alongside students at CTEC.
