OUR MISSION

Where Valor is Honored.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the Vietnam Veterans Hall of Remembrance (VVHR), we are a non-profit organization that has been formed to give the long overdue honor that our Vietnam Veterans so rightly deserve, but were denied when they returned home after serving our nation so faithfully. It is our goal to become a leading repository and museum that preserves their memory.

The VVHR will not only honor the Vietnam Veterans, but will also focus on the families left behind, the civil rights movement, music of the sixties, and other event from the 1960’s that have shaped, and still have an impact on America to this very day.  This facility will be the perfect place for field trips for students from four different School Districts teaching them about the American culture of the turbulent 1960s.

One of the first items that we are looking at acquiring is an F-100 Super Sabre, or an F-105 Thunderchief aircraft that served in Vietnam.  We have spoken with leadership at CTEC, and it is our intention to involve the young adults at CTEC in the restoration of one of these aircraft.  Seeing as how I am a 31 year veteran of the Air Force who served as a crew chief on C-5 Galaxy aircraft, and hold an FAA Powerplant and Airframe license, I  would be able to teach the young adults about the differences between piston driven aircraft and jet powered aircraft.

Sincerely,

Terry G. Juran President/CEO
