THE VIETNAM VETERANS' HALL OF REMEMBERANCE

Where Valor is Honored.

WHO WE ARE.

We are a non-profit organization that has been formed to give the long overdue honor that our Vietnam Veterans so rightly deserve, but were denied when they returned home after serving our nation so faithfully. It is our goal to become a leading repository and museum that preserves their memory.

The VVHR will not only honor the Vietnam Veterans, but will also focus on the families left behind, the civil rights movement, music of the sixties, and other event from the 1960’s that have shaped, and still have an impact on America to this very day.  This facility will be the perfect place for field trips for students from four different School Districts teaching them about the American culture of the turbulent 1960s.

OUR MISSION.

We are looking to obtain at least one aircraft and/or vehicle from each Branch of Service. Our Mission is to educate on these elite pieces of equipment and restore them to their prior beauty.

THE HOMEFRONT DISPLAY

The American Homefront Display invites visitors to explore the many ways life in the United States was transformed during the Vietnam War era. While soldiers served overseas, families at home carried the burden of separation and uncertainty. Music and fashion reflected both the spirit of the times and the growing influence of youth culture, while college campuses became centers of protest and debate over America’s role in the conflict. The turbulence of the decade culminated in moments of intense political unrest, most notably during the 1968 Democratic Convention, when divisions within the nation were laid bare.
